COVID19 and the NYC Trip Announcement

Dear YCCM Families,
We received the attached communication from DCINY, the producers of our NYC concert project, that the Lincoln Center has cancelled all programming through the month of March.  As a result, the YCCM board is looking to take action this evening to suspend our planned March 20-24 trip to New York.  We are also in touch with Sunshine Travel and DCINY on the financial obligations to ascertain how much reimbursement will be returned to families who made the investment for this experience.

As you can imagine, there are a lot of cancellations they are dealing with and the travel industry is reeling right now. We are pushing on our end, but also realize that we must be patient as we may not have answers in the near future.  We need to allow time for Sunshine Travel and DCINY to contact all of the venues and service providers to find out what can be cancelled.

As we know more, we will stay in touch, but want you to be able to plan accordingly and know that our travel plans will not happen next week.

We are as disappointed as you in the timing of this pandemic that is causing changes to many plans and events.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the details and will stay in touch with more information as it becomes available.
