As we all adapt and change to COVID-19, the Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota has seen significant changes to our calendar and operations.
The 2020-21 Season was cancelled on March 15. All rehearsals, trips, and concerts are cancelled through May 2020. Singers and staff are still engaged in online meetings and musical projects through April and May.
The End of the Year Picnic is postponed indefinitely. We will search out ways to either gather in group(s) appropriate for state health policies, or work out a uniform and music drop off over the summer.
Auditions for the 2020-21 season are online. Open to all singers entering 9-12 grade, singers can sign up for a time and register for online auditions at join.yccm.org. Singers need a phone, tablet, or computer with the free Zoom app, internet, a camera, and a microphone.
While our organization revolves around music, connection with each other is at the center. The health and safety of our singers, family, and staff is of our primary concern. We look forward to connecting with our singers, YCCM families, and our patrons as soon as possible.
