I Am He Said: Performance with the Vees at the Paramount and the State Fair

Description: Matt Vee and the Killer Vees have invited YCCM to create a “pick-up” choir for performances in St. Cloud and at the State Fair! The concert is a Neil Diamond tribute where the choir will sing back up for five songs.

All Singers Welcome! Whether you are a current YCCM singer, alumni, parent, or member of another choir, you are welcome to join us for this experience. Singers should be at least 8 years old, between 8 and 13 should be accompanied by a parent singer in the choir.

Commitment Dates:

• Monday, August 18, 6:30-8:30 PM - Learning Rehearsal @ the Paramount
• Wednesday, August 20, 7pm-8:30pm Tech Rehearsal @ the Paramount
• Paramount Performances:
  
  • Thursday, August 21, 1:30 and 7:30 PM
  • Friday, August 22, 7:30 PM
• State Fair Performances (Band Shell):
  
  • Sunday, August 31, 1:00 and 2:30 PM
  • Monday, September 1, 1:00 and 2:30 PM

‍Singer Commitment: Singers must commit to the learning rehearsal and all shows. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Singers are provided a ticket to the State Fair on August 31 and September 1. This means that singers can come with their families early and/or stay late and enjoy the great get together before and after the shows.

Apparel:

• Black casual (shorts are okay for State Fair performances)

Transportation and Parking

• All transportation to the Paramount and State Fair is the responsibility of singers. They may carpool as they see fit. Suggested parking for the State Fair will be available in early August.
