Artistic Director and Mixed Chorale Conductor

Garrett Lathe founded the Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota and has served as its Artistic Director since that time. Mr. Lathe is also director of Choirs at Sartell High School, a position he has held since 2001. He is a graduate of Bemidji State University under the mentorship of Paul Brandvik, and is currently a graduate student at St. Cloud State University. He is a current member and has served on the Executive Board of the American Chorale Directors Association of Minnesota. He is also a member of the National Association for Music Education and Minnesota Music Educators Association. Mr. Lathe currently lives in Little Falls with his wife Holly, an elementary music teacher, and their four children.

Women's Chorale Conductor

Linsey Jo Bösl, a Wisconsin native, was inspired by her early singing experiences to become a music educator. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota where she sang with the Concordia Choir under the direction of Dr. René Clausen. After college she directed choirs at Anoka and St. Michael Albertville High Schools. She has sung with both the Two Rivers Chorale and most recently with the National Lutheran Choir based out of Minneapolis. She is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, Education Minnesota, National Association for Music Education, and Minnesota Music Educators Association. She lives with her husband Michael in St. Joseph, Minnesota, and is expecting her first child in August.

Executive Director

Paula Heydman is entering her second year as Executive Director, where she is responsible for the overall administration of the Youth Chorale.  She has over ten years of arts administration experience, having held positions at MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis and The St. John's Boys' Choir in Collegeville.   Paula taught private piano lessons in her home for several years and has been self-employed as an editor and proofreader for local businesses.  She enjoys working with YCCM singers and their parents, spreading the news about the organization to the Central MN community, and being surrounded by choral music once again.  Paula lives in St. Cloud with her husband and two young daughters.
