Garrett Lathe is the founding director of the Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota. Mr. Lathe is also director of Choirs at Sartell High School, a position he has held since 2001. He is a graduate of Bemidji State University under the mentorship of Paul Brandvik, and is currently a graduate student at St. Cloud State University. Mr. Lathe currently lives in Little Falls with his wife Holly, an elementary music teacher, and their four children.
Susan Hill, accompanist for YCCM, has been an active accompanist, music enthusiast and advocate for years in Central Minnesota. She has spearheaded many projects in the community, and accompanied countless high school, college and community solos, ensembles, and choirs.
Paula Heydman is entering her first year as Executive Director, where she will be responsible for the overall administration of the Youth Chorale. She has over ten years of arts administration experience, having held positions at MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis and The St. John's Boys' Choir in Collegeville. Paula taught private piano lessons in her home for several years and has been self-employed as an editor and proofreader for local businesses. She is thrilled to be working with youth and their parents, and to be surrounded by music once again. Paula lives in St. Cloud with her husband and two young daughters.
The YCCM Board consists of choir directors, professionals and community members from around the St. Cloud area.
